How To Commute To Rockwell And Power Plant Mall


Power Plant Mall is the centerpiece of Rockwell Center, a 15.5 hectare upscale mixed-use project in Makati City, Metro Manila. It is accessible by jeepney via J.P. Rizal Street. You can go to Rockwell from a far distant location either by LRT and MRT or if you're taking EDSA, you can get near it by bus.


How to get to Rockwell from MRT-3

The nearest MRT-3 Station to Rockwell Center is Guadalupe Station. From Guadalupe Station, walk downhill along EDSA, turning right onto the service road next to Guadalupe Commercial Center, until you reach J.P. Rizal Street, the road that passes along the edge of Pasig River. This is if you take the train from Taft Avenue. If you ride a train that comes from North Avenue Station, go down the station and walk downhill towards the edge of the Pasig River, turning left on the service road going to J.P. Rizal.

Walk across J.P. Rizal towards the opposite side and near the edge of the river, and wait for a jeepney with "Paco Taft Herran" or "Paco Taft Bukid" sign. Pay minimum and ask driver to drop you off at Rockwell. It's near, approximately 1 kilometer from Guadalupe MRT Station. The jeepney from Guadalupe going to Paco passes under EDSA Guadalupe Bridge. Now, once the jeep pass the second time under a small bridge, you can alight at the next stop where you'll get to see Rockwell Center across J.P. Rizal. It's a wide complex with tall and modern buildings inside it. Walk in via the only road for commuters until you see the Power Plant Mall, approximately 85 meters from J.P. Rizal.

How to get to Rockwell from LRT-1

You can go to Rockwell and Power Plant Mall from LRT-1 by only one jeepney ride. From any station of LRT-1, alight at Pedro Gil Station.




From Pedro Gil Station, walk towards Pedro Gil Street. Cross Taft Avenue towards the opposite side where there's a 7-11 Convenient Store, and from that corner, walk along Pedro Gil Street. Next street from Taft is Leon Guinto Street where there's also a 7-11. Walk further along Pedro Gil past Leon Guinto and that 7-11 until you reach the next street which is Agoncillo Street. Along Pedro Gil Street at the corner of Agoncillo Street is the terminal of jeepneys with "Guadalupe Herran Ilalim". In the other side of the corner along Agoncillo Street is the terminal of jeepneys with "Guadalupe Ilalim Bukid". Choose "Guadalupe Herran" as this is faster than "Bukid". Pay the amount needed and ask the driver to drop you off at Rockwell. It's a main destination so there's a lot of commuters going there.


Here are detailed directions from different parts of Metro Manila as well as nearby provinces to Rockwell Center and Power Plant Mall:

Route #1

From Alabang, Metropolis Star Mall, Filinvest City, Festival Mall, Sucat, Pacita Complex, Southern Tagalog Provinces of Batangas, Laguna, Quezon and nearby areas.





First ride a bus, jeepney or FX to Alabang. In Alabang near Metropolis Star Mall, ride a bus with any of these signs: Monumento, Fairview, Cubao, Novaliches and Malanday. From Sucat and Bicutan, just go to the loading area where these buses stop to pick up passengers.

Tell the conductor your destination is "Guadalupe" also known as "Tulay". Get off the bus at Guadalupe.

Alternatively, you can alight at Magallanes Station of MRT. You can do it if you're in a hurry and if EDSA is heavily congested. Ride a North bound train and alight at Guadalupe Station.

Walk downhill along EDSA, turning right onto the service road next to Guadalupe Commercial Center, until you reach J.P. Rizal Street, the road that passes along the edge of Pasig River.

Walk across J.P. Rizal towards the opposite side and near the river, and wait for a jeepney with "Paco Taft Herran" or "Paco Taft Bukid" sign. Pay minimum and ask driver to drop you off at Rockwell. Route #2

From Pampanga, Bulacan, Novaliches and other areas near or inside these locations.

First option: Ride an FX going to SM City North EDSA or Trinoma. From Novaliches, you can ride a bus going to Baclaran or Alabang via EDSA and get off at Trinoma. Walk your way to MRT-3 North Avenue Station.

Ride a Taft bound train and get off at Guadalupe Station. Go down the station and walk downhill towards Pasig River, turning left on the service road that goes to J.P. Rizal Street, the road that passes along the edge of Pasig River. Walk across J.P Rizal towards the opposite side near the edge of the river and wait for a jeepney with "Paco Taft Herran" or "Paco Taft Bukid" sign. Pay minimum and ask driver to drop you off at Rockwell. It's near, approximately 1 kilometer from Guadalupe MRT Station. The jeepney from Guadalupe going to Paco passes under EDSA Guadalupe Bridge. Second Option: Ride a bus or FX, alight at EDSA Balintawak, ride a bus with "Baclaran" or "Alabang" sign, alight at Guadalupe, walk downhill towards the Pasig River and follow the direction given at First Option.

Third Option: From Balintawak, ride a bus going to Baclaran or Alabang, get off at MRT-3 North Avenue Station and follow direction in First Option.

Route #3

From Monumento, Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela, Bagong Barrio, 5th Avenue and other areas near to these locations.

Ride any bus going to Baclaran, Alabang or FTI. These buses stop at Guadalupe. Get off the bus at Guadalupe and follow direction in Route #2.

Alternatively, you can alight at MRT-3 North Station and follow direction in Route #2 Third Option.

Route #4

From LRT-1 Pedro Gil Station. This is the route to take if you want one jeepney ride to get to Rockwell from LRT-1 and if you come from Santa Cruz Manila, Quiapo, Recto, Binondo, Tondo, Ongpin, Divisoria, Blumentritt, Tayuman, Jose Abad Santos, Lawton, SM City San Lazaro, SM City Manila, Manila City Hall, U.N. Avenue and other areas near to these locations.

From your location, ride a Baclaran bound train and get off the train at Pedro Gil Station. All these places are near to LRT Stations namely Jose Abad Santos Station, Blumentritt Station, Tayuman Station, Doroteo Station, Carriedo Station, Central Station and U.N. Avenue Station.

From Pedro Gil Station, walk towards Pedro Gil Street. Cross Taft Avenue towards the opposite side where there's a 7-11 Convenient Store, and from that corner, walk along Pedro Gil Street. Route #5

From Ermita, Malate, Jorge Bacobo, Maria Orosa, Padre Faura, Mabini, M.H. Del Pilar, Robinson's Place Manila, Bellagio Square Malate, UP Manila, Supreme Court, PGH, Midland Plaza, Adriatico, Hyatt Hotel, Department of Justice, Manila Pavilion, Philam Life Bldg, PWU, U.S. Embassy, Executive Plaza and other places located near to these locations.

From your location, walk up to any of these streets: Padre Faura, M.H. Del Pilar, Pedro Gil. Ride a jeepney with "Paco" sign. This jeepney will take Pedro Gil Street and cross Taft Avenue on the way to Paco. Next to Taft is Leon Guinto Street, followed by Agoncillo Street. Along Pedro Gil Street near corner Agoncillo Street is the terminal of jeepneys with "Guadalupe Herran Ilalim". In the other side of the corner along Agoncillo Street is the terminal of jeepneys with "Guadalupe Ilalim Bukid". Choose "Guadalupe Herran" as this is faster than "Bukid". Pay the amount needed and ask the driver to drop you off at Rockwell. It's a main destination so there's a lot of commuters going there.

Route #6

From Baclaran, Paranaque, NAIA Terminal 1, 2 and 3, Alabang-Zapote Road, SM South Mall, SM Sucat, Mall of Asia or MOA, Pasay Rotonda, Heritage Hotel, Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard, Blue Wave Macapagal and other places nearby.

Ride a jeepney or bus going to Baclaran. In Baclaran, ride a bus with "Monumento" or "Fairview" sign, ask the conductor if the bus will pass through Pasay Rotonda because there are also "Monumento" and "Fairview" buses that take different route - Leveriza. If you're from MOA or Bluewave Macapagal, just ride jeepney with "Malibay" sign or any jeepney with "MRT Taft" on its sign. You have two options.

First Option is to go all the way and alight at Guadalupe, just ask conductor to drop you off at Guadalupe. But if you're in a rush or traffic in EDSA is gridlock, then take Second Option.

Second Option. Applicable if you're from MOA or Bluewave. Get off the jeepney at MRT-3 Taft. From Baclaran. Get off the bus at MRT Magallanes Station if you use a single journey train card. If your card is Stored Value, then alight at Taft Station. The queues in Taft Station's card sales windows are very long most of the time so the bypass. Ride a North bound train and alight at Guadalupe Station.

Route #7

From Harrison Plaza, Harrison Street, Libertad Pasay or Arnaiz Avenue, Gil Puyat aka Buendia, Vito Cruz aka Pablo Ocampo, Ninoy Aquino Stadium, Rizal Memorial Stadium, Pasay City Sports Complex, Cuneta Astrodome, CCP Complex and places near to these locations.

From your location go to any of these streets: Taft Avenue, Harrison Street, Libertad or Arnaiz Avenue. Ride a jeepney going to Baclaran and get off the jeep at EDSA. From Libertad, ride "Malibay" bound sign and alight at Taft MRT. Walk your way to MRT-3 Taft Station or ride any jeep going to Taft.

In MRT-3 Taft Station, ride a North bound train, get off at Guadalupe and follow direction at Route #6.

Route #8

From Marikina, Antipolo, Cogeo, Sta. Lucia East, Robinson's Metro East, Katipunan, Ateneo, Santolan, Anonas, Project 4 and nearby areas.

Go to the nearest LRT-2 Station. These are Santolan Station, Katipunan Station and Anonas Station. Ride a train going to Recto. Get off the train at Araneta Center Cubao Station. Walk inside Gateway Mall towards Araneta Coliseum and use the footbridge connecting Araneta Coliseum and Farmers Plaza. From Farmers Plaza go to MRT-3 Araneta Center Cubao Station, which is connected to the mall. Ride a Taft bound train and alight at Guadalupe Station.

Go down the station and walk downhill towards Pasig River, turning left on the service road that goes to J.P. Rizal Street, the road that passes along the edge of Pasig River. Walk across J.P Rizal towards the opposite side near the edge of the river and wait for a jeepney with "Paco Taft Herran" or "Paco Taft Bukid" sign. Route #9

From Fairview, Commonwealth, UP Diliman, Ayala UP Technohub, Philcoa, Elliptical Road, East Avenue, Quezon City Memorial Circle, Quezon City Hall and places near to these locations.

Ride a bus with "Baclaran" or "Alabang" sign. Alight at Guadalupe. Once in Guadalupe, follow direction in Route #8, after the commuter has got off the train at Guadalupe Station.

Route #10

From Project 6, Project 2 and 3, Project 7 and 8, Munoz, Roosevelt, West Avenue, SM City North EDSA, Trinoma, Quezon Avenue, Centris Walk, Timog, Kamuning, Kamias, Cubao, Ortigas Center, EDSA-Shaw Crossing, Shangri-la Plaza, Pioneer Boni.

Go to the nearest MRT-3 Station. Depending on your location, here are the MRT Stations available to you: North Station, Quezon Avenue Station, GMA Kamuning Station, Araneta Center Cubao Station, Santolan Station, Ortigas Station, Shaw Station and Boni Station.

Ride a Taft bound train, get off at Guadalupe Station and follow direction in Route #8, the part where the commuter is already alighted from the train.

    3. @ Levin Joy Marollano. Sakay lang po bus na "Baclaran" or "Alabang" ang sign sa harap at baba po sa Guadalupe. Sa kanto po ng EDSA at Ortigas. Pede din sakay ng MRT to Taft at baba Guadalupe. Sa Guadalupe punta kyo sa pagitan ng Jollibee at yun malaki Guadalupe Commercial Center. Abang po kyo ng jeep na ang sign ay "Pedro Gil Paco Taft" o "San Andress Bukid". Sabihin nyo sa driver ibaba po kyo ng Rockwell. Ingat po sa Guadalupe madami mandurukot ng cp lalo na sa pedestrian overpass. Sana po ay makatulong :)
