How To Commute To Newport City & Resort World Manila

The nearest LRT-1 Station to Newport City and Resort World Manila, commute wise, is EDSA Station. The nearest MRT-3 Station, commute wise, is Taft Station. These stations are situated at EDSA corner Taft Avenue, most popularly known as Pasay Rotunda. There are two ways you can get to Newport City and Resort World Manila from Pasay Rotunda on public transportation:

NAIA Shuttle at its Bus Stop in Newport City
Maxims, Resort World & Remington are at the back
Convenient way to commute to Newport City - One ride by NAIA Shuttle Bus with its terminal located at Pasay Rotunda. Ride this bus and alight at Newport City. The bus will stop at NAIA-3 then it will go to Newport City. UPDATE: 2 bus stops now in Newport City. Read new post so that you know where to alight. Go to How to get to Newport City destinations via Airport Loop. If you don't know the location of NAIA Shuttle in Pasay Rotunda, CLICK HERE. Newport City & Resort World Manila is situated opposite NAIA-3.

Star Cruise Bldg is located at jeepney loading &
unloading and NAIA Bus Stop in Resort World Manila
Commute to Newport City by jeepneys - By two jeepney rides you can get to Resort World Manila. From MRT-3 TAft Station and LRT-1 EDSA Station, go to the north bound lane of EDSA and wait for a jeepney with "Nichols Andrews Ave NAIA-3" sign. The loading area is past MRT Station towards Aurora Blvd flyover that you see from the train station. You can also get inside Genesis Bus Terminal and look for the terminal of these jeepneys.

UPDATE 27 SEP 2015: The direction below (From MRT & LRT) is no longer recommended because you can now take the Newport Free Shuttle from unloading area of jeepneys from Pasay Rotunda/MRT/LRT to Resorts World Manila and other buildings and destinations inside Newport City. Please read my latest article that will guide you on how to get to any spot in Newport City via NCEA Free Shuttle. Go to Commute Guide to Newport City Buildings & Spots via Free Shuttle Bus

From MRT and LRT
This jeepney turns right onto Aurora Blvd and turns left on Andrews Ave. Ride one of these jeepneys, pay minimum and alight once driver stops the jeep at loading area in the big roundabout before NAIA-3. At the center of roundabout is the sculpture that you see in this photo. Walk towards jeepney stop along NAIA-3 complex and wait for a jeepney with "Ft Bonifacio Star Cruise Gate 4" sign in the front and "Nichols Ikot" in both sides. The terminal of these jeepneys are explained below: For driving directions, click here.

You need to ride another jeepney even if you're already in NAIA-3 complex because Resort World is way too far from the roundabout. Pay minimum and ask driver to drop you off at "Star Cruise" or "Resort World". The driver always say "Star Cruise" instead of Resort World because Star Cruise building is situated right at jeepney stop in which passengers must alight and ride. From the building, Resort World Manila and other important destinations in Newport City can already be seen.

Two Terminals of Jeepneys That Pass By Newport City And Resort World Manila

Andrews Avenue - This terminal is located in front of Barangay 183 Hall, a building you can make out from where you would get ofF the jeep from Pasay Rotunda. You don't need to ride the jeep in this terminal if you can just go to the jeepney stop located along Andrews Ave NAIA-3 side which is nearer to where you would get off from the jeep that comes from Baclaran and Pasay Rotunda. Pay minimum and alight at Star Cruise or Resort World.

Nichols Jeepney Terminal - This terminal is located to the other side of Newport City vicinity near SLEX and Fort Bonifacio. It's opposite Villamor Golf Course which you can make out from the distance. This terminal serves commuters from Guadalupe, Bonifacio Global City or BGC, Market Market, Alabang, Bicutan, Sucat, Taguig, Muntinlupa and areas nearby as well as those commuters from provinces of Batangas, Laguna and Quezon. You need to walk across SLEX via Nichols Field Bridge through which private motorist pass. The sign in front of jeepneys here reads "NAIA-3 Star Cruise Resort World Andrews Ave" and "Nichols Ikot" in both sides. Pay minimum. From the terminal, the jeepney takes Sales Road and turns right onto Andrews Ave. Alight approximately 210 meters after the jeepney turns right onto Andrews Avenue from Sales Road. Star Cruise, the building that serves as landmark is located right at the loading and unloading area (in first photo above).

    1. Useful post! Are there taxis easily available from the EDSA LRT Station to go directly to Resort World Manila? If so, roughly how long would the journey take to the Newport Mall/Theatre? Thanks in advance :)

    3. Hello readers, just want you to know that this post is modified for latest update. When I created this guide, the NAIA Shuttle didn't serve passengers bound for Newport City. Recently they put up their terminal right there. So this article now highlights the convenient way of going to Newport City - and that is by NAIA Bus.

Thanks for the likes and shares. :)

    6. @ joselito calayag. In going to Resort World Manila, there are two options of commuting from Sucat. First, take a jeepney in SLEX service road. The jeepney sign is "Pasay Rotunda." Get off the jeepney at MRT then follow the direction given in this article. Second option, take a jeepney to Baclaran via Sucat Rd. Once in Roxas Blvd, wait for a jeepney with "Nichols" sign. This jeepney is the one mentioned from MRT and LRT so follow the same direction given in this directional article.

      1. lrt2 po. and also, do you have any idea how much is the andrews and nichols jeep fare?

        Delete
    13. @ CJ Lim.

    18. Thank you so much!!! commuter here. It sure did helped me a lot

To those who are from Nueva Ecija din, I also suggest na sa byaheng Pasay (Baliwag) kayo sumakay para malapit na kayo. then pagbaba nyo makikita nyo malapit sya sa Taft station.
