Tunnel Discovered Along Edsa-Guadalupe

A man made underground tunnel wide and big enough to accomodate dump trucks has been discovered around 5 am today along Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue(EDSA)-Guadalupe area.

It was reported by Radio dzBB and radio reporter Denver Trinidad said that the crew of Manila Water found the tunnel during digging operations at the area.

Initial information showed that the tunnel was about 3.5 meters below street level and crew members of the water concessionaire immediately notified the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) about their findings.

The MMDA, in reponse, had advised Manila Water to suspend its operations for the moment, the report said.
