Direction Bytes: How To Get To Pasong Tamo Aka Chino Roces From Ayala Avenue

    • There are two options in going to Pasong Tamo which is now known as Chino Roces Avenue from Ayala Avenue.

    If you're going to Pasong Tamo corner Buendia now known as Gil Puyat or any establishments and buildings near it, then you must ride a bus with "LRT Leveriza" sign or jeepney with "Washington" sign at the loading zone along Ayala Avenue near Ayala Tower One and Ayala Triangle Garden or any loading zone along Ayala Avenue. Get off at Gil Puyat corner Chino Roces formerly Pasong Tamo and walk to your destination or ride another jeepney that passes through Chino Roces. Important places in this vicinity are: Comfoods Building, Pryce Center, Avida Towers, Export and Industry Bank, King's Court, JAKA Center, Dela Rosa Square, Marvin Plaza and Saint Illian's Inn among others.

    Now, if you're going to any of these places: Columns Legaspi, Sunvar Plaza, The Beacon Arnaiz Tower, MCS, Little Tokyo, Herald Suites, The Gallery, Eurotel Makati, Waltermart Makati, Don Bosco Technical Institute, Splash Mountain, Asian Massage, Wilcon Builders, Citi Motors, Laureno di Trevi, Makati Executive Suites, PDIC, The Beacon International School, Wyeth Philippines, Philippine School of Interior Design, Living & Style, Coca Cola Sales Office, Kodak Philippines Limited, Molave Building, Alegra Building, Mantrade, Auto Zone, Roche Incorporated, Levi's Philippines, Glaxo Smith Kline, Singer and Alphaland Southgate Mall among others; you need to take a different route.





    Ride a jeepney with "Mantrade Pasong Tamo" sign at the loading station along Ayala Avenue opposite Ayala Triangle and near McDonald's. This jeepney turns right from Paseo de Roxas onto Ayala Avenue, picks up passengers at the loading zone, then turns right again onto Makati Avenue on its way to Pasong Tamo or Chino Roces Avenue.

        Gamboa St is a long road from Amorsolo to Paseo de Roxas. It's better that I know your building destination so that you don't need to walk far from the corner. Because one end is a jeepney routed while the other is near to the one where other jeepneys pass through.

        You must alight at Magallanes station, take a jeeoney bound for PRC and alight exactly at HC located right hand side of Chino Roces before King's Court.

        Take a jeepney bound for Guadalupe, get off at Pasong Tamo, take "Mantrade" jeepney and ask driver to drop you off at Sabio St.

      Hello blogger! Thanks for this guide, I was able to go to my destination (Eco Plaza bldg). A few notes to further improve the content:
      - Loading sheds in Ayala Ave (for people commuting to Mantrade, Pasong Tamo) is in front of Jolibee/Greenwich, not McDonalds
      - Jeepneys taking the Mantrade route are quite scarce in the morning (normal hoop, as the trsffic enforcer suggested, starts around 9/930am)
      - Jeepneys enroute to Mantrade stops at Alphaland Bldg. If you want to go deeper into Pasong Tamo Ext, you have to ride another jeepney (Terminal is almost right where you will drop off)

      Gud am..i have to go to La Fuerza Bldg in chino roces mkti former pasong tamo later 1pm today and I fortunately saw this site..can u help me how to get there coz I'm here in junction cainta Rizal and the only way to get to mkti is to ride FX-Ayala..where do I get off? Or is there nearer and easier way to get to La fuerza pasong tamo/chino roces?

        Two jeepney rides. First, take a jeepney with sign "Mantrade-PRC" bound for Mantrade not PRC which is the opposite destination. Once in EDSA, go to Southgate Mall and take another jeepney with "DPC Extension ECO Plaza" sign. It's headed to Paong Tamo Ext.
