  • Dangwa Flower Market
Dangwa Market, as popularly called by many to refer to the fresh flower market in Sampaloc, Manila where supplies come from various flower havens of the Philippines such as La Trinidad, Tagaytay City, Davao City, Laguna, etc., as well as imported from major sources of flowers outside the country such as Thailand and Holland, is situated at crossroads where three prominent city streets meet - Lacson Avenue, Dimasalang Street and Laon Laan Street. Because of this, commuting to the flower center of Metro Manila is relatively easy.

    Manila Flower Center
The nearest LRT station, commute wise, is LRT-1 Tayuman Station. That means you can go to this place in a breeze from any point of MRT-3 as well, e.g. Santolan, Ortigas, Shaw, Boni, Guadalupe, Buendia, Ayala Center and Magallanes. Just alight at Taft Station, ride another train at LRT-1 EDSA Station and alight at Tayuman Station. You only need to take one short jeepney ride and you're ready to go. Details below. Needless to say, you can get here via train from both ends of LRT-1 - Baclaran Station and Roosevelt Station. Dangwa is a flower outlet, so it's definitely cheaper. It's worth the trip. They carry imported and local flowers. :-)
